Good morning, I think. Grab a cup of coffee and pray that we can read the spirit of The Word.

The last two days have been spent looking at the dream that came to Joseph and the star that came to the Magi.

It has occurred to me that God comes to us in a form that we understand.
Joseph had a dream and the angels spoke with him in that dream. Joseph recognized this as having come from God. God approached him in a manner he could understand. And Joseph obeyed.

God came to the Magi in the form of a star. The Magi were sometimes called "Star gazers." Without a verbal word they knew this star came from God and they asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We have seen his star in the east and have come to worship him."

This is called intuitive knowledge. Every time a person cusses he has expressed an intuitive knowledge of the presence of God and that person doesn't like it. The Magi had the discernment that this star was of God and that it's light would lead them to "The one born king of the Jews."
Their discernment even told them they would go to worship.

So God approaches us in a manner we can understand. That form of revelation is different for each person. Do we have the discernment to acknowledge that God is speaking to us? That is wisdom, knowing when God is speaking.

Tomorrow we shall see Moses as a picture of Christ in the Old Testament.
Herod and Pharaoh.

Time for coffee, see you next time.
