Yesterday we talked about the genealogy of Christ with the promise made to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations. That promise was kept in Christ.

Today we deal with the birth of Christ: "Matthew 1-17 Now the birth of Jesus Christ came about : His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be of child by the Holy Spirit."
Dear Friends and Supporters,

Mary was a virgin who was conceived of the the Holy Spirit. This is significant. Since the time of Adam mankind has been born with an Adamic nature ( the instinct to sin). No one has to teach a child how to lie, cheat, and steal, it comes naturally.

But Jesus had a different father. You see if you want to determine who a persons father is you can take a blood sample. Jesus had the blood of God and the flesh of man, The Incarnation. God in flesh.

It is the innocence of the blood of Jesus that makes it possible to satisfy God's judgment. "Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin." Had Jesus sinned his blood would not be acceptable as an offering to take away the sins of the word.

The Incarnation, God in flesh.
